The third fixture provided a thrilling display that saw Ballincollig and Douglas go to extra time and both sides having to do it all again next Tuesday July 31st at 7:00pm in Castle Road as they could not be separated even after extra time.  This fixture proved a nail biting encounter with the sides all square after extra time Ballincollig 2-14, Douglas 1-17.

Ballincollig lined out in their third strip to avoid a colour clash with Douglas.

The fourth fixture saw divisional side Carbery take the spoils after a slow start however, they found their rhythm and had just two points to spare over a spirited Ballygarvan side that pushed them all the way.  Both goal keepers were called upon to pull off some fine saves and thus no goals were registered in this encounter that was played in wet and slippery conditions.  The final score Carbery 0-13, Ballygarvan 0-11.  Ballygarvan now face Valley Rovers in the Backdoor/Round 2 and Carbery await the draws for Round 3.
